Welcome to our on-line journal of events and activities as we journey across the ocean to represent the United States in the SAGE World Cup event in Cape Town, South Africa. Our journal will start as we fly to Cape Town via an overnight in Dubai!

Goodby Dubai...Hello Cape Town!!!

We started off the morning eating breakfast at the Millennium Hotel in Dubai. We boarded a shuttle bus to the airport for the next leg of our journey, Cape Town! Our Cape Town hotel, the Lagoon Beach Hotel, is very nice. All of our rooms are two bedroom suites with large balconies. There is a bath tub and separate shower in the bathrooms. We have two bathrooms in each room. Some of the rooms face the ocean. Can’t wait to have time to sit and watch the waves, ...as if that will happen!

Friday, we leave at 6:30am for a safari that includes breakfast and lunch. More to come…
