Global Do Gooders

Global Do.Gooders' sponsored an event at Santa Monica High School on July 16, which featured a presentation from Santa Monica High SAGE team. This event brought together a large group of business and industry representatives to learn about Global Do Gooders and to network with youth, students, educators, and industry leaders in the social innovation landscape. Attendees included social entrepreneurs, non-profit executives, representatives of Ashoka Youth Ventures, Social Enterprise Alliance, etc.
Guests participated as judges as SAGE students practiced for Cape Town. Judges provided a business and global perspective in their feedback and challenged the students with a serious and intense question and answer session as the follow up to their presentation. This will help the team to continue to fine tune their presentation to be the best prepared possible to compete at the international level against teams from China, Canada, Brazil, Ghana, Singapore, Ireland, Kenya, Malaysia, Nigeria, South Africa, South Korea, and more.

Global Do.Gooders is piloting a student social entrepreneur internship program in the Fall. The mission of the internship program is to empower high school students become the next generation of change leaders and develop their business acumen for social change. Global Do.Gooders accomplishes this mission in partnership with university student leaders and global businesses that create sustainable social value as part of their business ideology.

Thank you Global Do Gooders for bringing together such a great group of individuals interested in youth entrepreneurial advancement and including us as part of your program. The input and suggestions will help us to continue to advance our programs.
